外国在做电气设计的时候很注重这个问题，要想在国产设备上见到继电器的机率会低很多。举个例子来说，当一台机器的门（也可以是光栅）打开的时候，继电器就会断开供电，电路控制主马达的接触器断开，主马达停止，待门关上后，在按下复位键才能使主马达运转。

1、万一机器电路发生故障时，可以停止机器动力电源；

2、电路发生故障时，机器不能再启动；

3、在紧急停止解除时，机器不能出现突然再启动。
